Fodmap Diet Broccoli. Broccoli and broccolini can be a safe low FODMAP option if you are eating for IBS just be mindful of which parts of the vegetable you are eating. However whether something is low or high FODMAP depends entirely on serving size threshold level and in broccolis case the part of the broccoli you are eating.
As a quick comparison FODMAP Friendly states that broccoli no mention of crown or stalk is low FODMAP at 1 cup. Aim to include mostly low FODMAP vegetables to meet the recommended 5 serves of vegetables per day. Nonetheless even canned legumes are a significant source of FODMAPs though small portions typically 14 cup per serving can be included in a low-FODMAP diet.
