AMOJ Goals

In July 2000, A Matter Of Justice (AMOJ) became a coalition.
Over fifty organizations dedicated to legal and government reform.
Constitutional, Family Rights, Estate Rights and Pro Se Rights.
The rights every sovereign individual is guaranteed by Our Bill of Rights.
The Preamble to the Bill of Rights and Constitution clearly states its purpose.
It is Prima Facia law, the First Fact of Law in our country.

The elimination of absolute judicial and public service immunities.
The mission of this coalition is as broad as our government.
A Matter of Justice is actively involved at every level of government.

Our plan is very clear.
1) Educate the public about the abuses in the legal system,
2) Create a movement capable of forcing
    (i) A national debate on the conditions in the legal system.
(ii) The institution of a process to identify the needed changes.
(iii) Implementation of the needed changes.

The two most important elements of the reform that we propose are as follows.

A. The Supreme Court or Congress must declare unconstitutional all immunities that deny to citizens a meaningful redress of their grievance.
(This requires no new law.)1

B. The judicial decisions to dismiss actions involving significant claims, both for damages and equitable relief, must be validated by a jury hearing the arguments by the parties in any controversy. (This requires new law.)2

This would allow suits against bad judges, yet would not create a special process just for the judges. It would also allow suits against lying witnesses and other immunized classes.

However, the proper time to put the debate over the best proposals center stage is when the system is ready for reform. It is quite possible, even likely, that the best proposals are yet to be discovered.

If Our Communications With The Federal Judiciary Fail?

Our first priority is a campaign to educate the public on the realities of the legal system and to build the movement to such size and power that it will be able to force a national debate on the conditions in the legal system and the need for its reform..

Consistent with this program is demanding the appointment of independent bodies to investigate the conditions in the legal system. All entities sympathetic to the cause of legal reform should broadcast this demand to the public using all available means.

It is our hope that we will suffiicently impress "the system" with our ability to implement the program that it will choose to reform itself. While we await the outcome of our communications with the federal judiciary, we ardently make plans for the contrary possibilities.

1. Part A: Remove all immunities that interfere with justice and due process, not only for judicial immunity but for all government servant's supposed immunities. It should not make an unconstitutional distinction between the civil prosecution of judges or any government servant and all other constitutionally sovereign citizens.

2. Part B: A dismissal before "voir dire" should be validated by a grand jury, while a dismissal after it -- by the jury in the case. It is also possible to have a jury similar to a regular jury validate these dismissals of suits at initial stages. This would require more jury duty for the public. However, viable approaches almost certainly exist for solving this problem. More jury duty would also make better citizens, exposing the public more to the problems faced by others in our society.

Time to remember that We The People are "their" employers.
